Y pensar que yo tuve la suerte de intercambiar unas pocas palabras allá por él año 1968 durante mi periodo de entrenamiento en él Grill Room del Savoy Hotel de Londres, y sucedió de una manera tan simple y especial para mí; aquel día que estaba de servicio en él Grill Room del Hotel me tocó servirle él primer plato de su orden. Era avocado con salsa vinagreta, él señor Chaplin estaba acompañado de su esposa Ona y su hija Geraldine, una vez que servi su primer plato le pregunté si podía servir la salsa vinagreta, él muy educado me respondió: Please leave it on the table and agregó "muchas gracias joven " lo dijo con una voz muy amable y con la sonrisa típica de él. Desde entonces no he podido olvidar aquel breve intercambio de palabras y hoy a mis,85 años sigue siendo una visión del artista más famoso del mundo que ha hecho reír a millones de personas en todo el mundo. He querido relatar este pequeño encuentro con él señor Charles Chaplin y qué llevaré conmigo hasta el final de mis días.

Jesus fucking Christ, Jon, you didn't have to go that hard lmao. I just started laughing the first time I listened to this song because it exposes every single one of us.

What's interesting about this song that I think about often is that the main character of the song says, "I miss my little kids and wife." And then later in the song, they wish to meet "another little person". In other words, the main character in this song wants to cheat on their partner. At least that's my interpretation. It is probably just a reference to Caden's multiple lovers, but I still find it interesting how fickle and fucked up we are as humans that we marry and have children, and we still fall out of love. It's awful, but it's human.

This movie might be the closest thing a movie has gotten to be as dense and impactful as a really good book, that I've seen. What an experience...

The lyrics of this song, amplified by the absolutely spot on music, speak to my hearth in a way that makes me cry every single time I hear it. I've seen the film 3 times since it came out and every time I cried during the credits scene.

The movie and music bring so many childhood memories. Absolutely amazing. Brings tears to my eyes ❤

Limelight is upon everything beautiful, only an artist so amazing can do that....... the past dont die, it only stay silence.........to remember, wake it up.......

So many parallels between this movie and the novel IAN NEMEVARY. I wonder if the former influenced the latter. In any event, I highly recommend that book to all Charlie Kaufman fans, and hope that one day he makes a movie based on it. Both are straight masterpieces. Kaufman is a genius.
